The Artist
An artist is blessed by the universe with bounties not given to anyone else. Each artist is unique, each one fulfilling the roles they are destined to play. They are not merely people who make things beautiful; they create beauty itself.
The true artist does not seek recognition for himself; he is the servant of the cosmos, a slave of the order and design of the Almighty. This is his essence.
The true artist does not seek pleasure for his own gain, rather it is out of his desire to imprint the spirit of his art in his audience. This is his service.
The true artist, frail as he is, nonetheless aspires and strives to attain the unattainable perfection of nature in his work. This is his goal.
The artist is given a most challenging task: to heighten the consciousness of Mankind.
